Starshoot was sold after the C.J.C. meeting to Mr J. Buckley for 300 guineas. The Trentham track is reported to be in good order at present. Mobility went once round and moved pleasingly, finishing the last four furlongs strongly, and should have a say in the finish of the Thompson Handicap. Achilles also did good work and it looks a good thing for the champion in the Challenge Stakes. King Billy skipped over the ground Jin great style, and it is probable the Mcrriwcc colt will start favorite for the Thompson.
Delaware will be Mr G. G. Stead's enly representative in the Thompson Handicap, as Savoury was sold on Saturday to Mr D. J. Price. Solution's name was omitted from the list of acceptances in the Thompson Handicap. It is rumored that Flamcn and Bouri'ivstjue will not start m the Thompson Handicap.
