EGG-LAYING COMPETITION.
PEE PBESS ASSOCIATION. Chbistcuubch, April 23. The statcmont for the lifty-lirst week of the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club's egg-laying competition at Lincoln College shows that 114 eggs were laid during the week, making a total to date of 30,077. The following were the best totals for the week : H. H. Hawke's silver wyandottes 15, P. Presants' silver wyandottes 11. The totals to date are H. Hawke, silver wyandottes 1264; J. H. Shaw, brown leghorns 1002 j 11. E. W. Evan*, silver wyanddttes 986.
