HUNDREDS ROASTED IN THE DEBRIS. CHINESE IN FEARFUL PANIC. SUPPRESSED BY TBOOPS WITH FIXED BAYONETS. Received 20, 9.56 p.m. v New Yobk, April 20. Many of the richest banks and commercial houses in Montgomery street were burnt. Hundreds have been roasted in the debris. Chinatown and tho Japanese quarters are in ruins. The Chinese, in fearful panic, rushed through the streets heating gongs. They collided with other foreigners and fierce fighting ensued, which the troops suppressed at the point of tho bayonet.
