HEAVY GALES PREDICTED.
GREAT HEAT IX AUSTRALIA Received 19,12.13 a.m. Si dney, April 18. The weather is very sultry. To-day has been the hottest April day experienced for seventeen years. Eightyeight degrees were registered in Sydney, ranging as high as 104 in the country. Heavy gales are predicted on the eoast, and between Bass Straits and New Zealand.
