At oue mile Maniapoto was a coulplc of lengths clear of Norcen, and passing the five furlong post Maniapoto had increased his lead to four lengths. Before reaching the half-mile post Maniapoto dropped out, aud Marvel Loch was first into the straight, At the distance Norecn ran to the front and won by a length and a half from Proceed, who beat Boabdil by a length. Gladsome was fourth and the last to finish was Maniapoto. Time, 3.291.
