SUPPORTED BY ADMIRAL FITZ. GERALD. Received 16,4.58 p.m. London, April 14. Admiral Fitegerald, .writing in the "National Review" urges British statesmen to recognise Colonial feeling in favor of a locally owned and eon* trolled navy, based on broad Imperial* ism. He advocates the immediate re* mission of the money contribution, without oharging for the distribution of Imperial warships leaving the Com* uonwealth and other Colonic* at choose to start navies of their ownj Britain lending suitable ships and in* btrustors.
Admiral Fitzgerald is confident that Colonial navies would be 'available to fight for the Empire, wherever they wore most wanted.
