The "Daily Mail" Lisbon correi* pendent states that owing to lack of disoiphne, the sailors on the flagship Don Carlos, being refused-shore bare, tried to throw a Lieutenant overboard, Being prevented from doing so, they then insisted that he be landed. Admiral Sonya then boarded the Don Carlos, and on the sailors threat* ening that they would bombljrd Lisbon or sink tho ship if their demands were not complied with; he promised the men that the offloers would be ohanged, The mutineers only consented to land after the Lord of the Admiralty promised they would not be arretted, A similar but smaller mutiny oo« currcd on the warship Tejo." The officers nowsay their prestige it gone.
