A TERRIBLE PANIC. RENEWAL OF AWFUL CONVULSIONS. LAVA FLOWINGON POMPEII. Received 11,10.22 p.m. Rome, Maroh 11. The town of Ottajano was destroyedThe rain of sand continues and the panic is terrible. There is great destitution on all sides. King Emanuel and Queen Helena contributed four thousand sterling towards the relief. There have been further violent explosions and strong disturbances in the nterior of the mountain, and lava is again flowing towards Pompeii. There is a downfall of ashes in the districts surrounding the volcano.
