'■?'.." TO WBSS ASSOCIATION. Dunedix, April 11. At the annual session of the Fresby- - torian Synod of Otago and Southland, the moderator, the Rev. Mr Dutton, was unable to attend through illness, -• ind"his address was read. A discussion took place on the question of a limited tenure of ministerial office, and a conference is to be held with the office bearers' association' on the matter. The general opinion appeared to be that the proposal was impracticable.
