Mr Hamilton Hodges, the wellknown singer, arrived in New Ply. mouth yesterday, and proceeds to Wellington to-day. He returns to New llymouth on Friday evening, when he Mill take part in the saered concert which is to be held in coimeclion with the Sports Grounds Committee-. Mr N, .J. King has been nominated lor the Stratford Mayoralty. He has already lilled the position for three years.
