Locksmiths on strike in the Department of Soiurae, burut their employer's residence and sacked lii.s brother's house, destroying .620,000 north ot pictures, porcelain and furniture. The French minors continue the strike, demanding a minimum wage of five shillings and uineponce. One hundred thousand men arc affected.
