Shopkeepers in Lancashire are cutting American bleached beef in angle pounds and retailing it as Australian tinned mutton, thereby practically stopping the sale ot llie latter. ' Mr Cogldan (Agent-General) is ask. ing the-Laneashire County Council to interfere, and has also written to the ' local papers threatening to prosecute the offenders.
