The Premier has received * cable from the High Commissioner, stating that the United States' Government is asking for an appropriation from Congress of 10,000 doUars for the expenses •of delegates to the. New Zealand Exhibition. Cabtertox, April 4. A representative meeting of settlers unanimously decided that Wairarapa should be represented as a district at the International Exhibition in Christchurch, and that the aid of other centre's in the Wairarapa be sought, to enable a Wairarapa court to b» thoroughly representative of the district. Mastektun", April 4. A meeting of citizens was addressed to-night by Mr D. C. Mclntyrc, Commissioner of the Exhibition. It was decided that Wairarapa should be represented at the Exhibition.
