LIVING LONDON.

10-night at the Theatre Koyal and for two following nights "Living Loudon " the famous living picture will be presented for the first time. Modern science has revolutionised picture entertainments until they have obtained such a degree of perfection, that a public, be it at the North or South poles, may sit [comfortably within tlio walls of a theatre or hall, and see through the medium of the bioscope, events transpiring daily iu every corner of the globe and not experience that palpable strain so trying to the eyes. In " Living London " every conceivable phase of life is shown, the heart of the mighty capital is traversed, and the thousand and one interesting details carefully depicted from Koyalty to slum life. London at work, London at play, the busy thronging streets, the glorious upper reaches of the Thames; the great river is also seen with its endless stream of steamers and barges engaging in their multitudinous occupations ; merchants, shop keepers, costers, " Living London " shows all these and many other conditions of the busy daily life of London. The history of marvellous London has been undertaken by many writers, but the prescntment of the great city and its people in living form has never before been attempted. This evening's pictures are not strictly confined to London, there being many other extensive films such as that depicting Creusot's famous French steel works. The whole process of steel making is gone into iu, 8 sections. The beautiful Fountains of Versailles in another fascinating effect, and the stirring incidents 111 the French Grand National Steeplechase will arouse grimt interest in this community. A peep into Norway from Christiana to Cape North is said to be an excellent series. These and many intenelv humorous pictures lyill be displayed.
