The weather was fine, and tho course a triflo heavy. £12,928 was put jhrough the totalisator for the meeting, against £13,147 for last year's meeting. Results i Hack Hurdle Handicap, 15 miles: Oryx 1, Silverlene 2, Wind 3. Also started: Pemmiean, Hoity Toity, Eino. The winner was never headed, and won easily. Hoity Toity lost her rider at the second last hurdle. Won easily. Time 2.55. Djvs. £2l7s and £1 18s.

Opaki Hack Handicap, 7 furlongs: Maui 1, Riflemaid 2, Hatley 3. Also started: Aeolus, Scenery, Lavinia, Moloch, Sherlock Holmes, Waikakaho, Lethelinc, Lady Leith. Won by a length. Time 1.32, Divs. £ll7s and £lO 17s.
