The winner of any flat race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lrtlbn; of two or more such races, lJlbs; horses handicapped at j_Bst 71bs[or over, half the above penalies. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary Manaia, with name, age, colour and pedigree of horse, name of owner, colours of the rider, anil performances of the horses. Kutries by wire must be confirmed in writing at the earliest opportunity. All races to be run under the Utiles of Uacing as adopted by the Kacing Conference of New Zealand. Owners are particularly reminded that all entries must be accompanied by cash, cheque, or l'.O. order. This rule will be strictly enforced. Only members of the Bookmakers' Association or TaUcrsall's will be permitted to ply their calling on the course on the day of the races, and they will be charged a fee of Five Guineas for this privilege.
