A Maori youth, Rau Kawa Hcira, pleaded guilty to stealing at Wairoa, ■ aud another Maori youth, George Kemp, to forging aud dealing with a , cheque. Rimu Kara, a young Maori, ' was found guilty of carnally knowing a Maori girl under the ago of lb' years. William George Phillips was found guilty of obtaining money and a , photograph under false pretences. i Sentence iu each case was deferred.
