A good deal of furniture and sundries realised a goud s;i!c. Land —We report having disposed of Mr Henry Gray's line farm of 500 acres al Sentry Hill to Mr Hyslop, of i'ueeu-dand. The clearing sale of stock will be held on March 2Sth as per advertisement. We have also sold Mr Nenl's Barret I-road leases to Mr 11. Cocker lor building purposes. On AVcdnesday, at Junction Road, Air AVere-Baker's sale of farm ami dairy stock was well attended. The cows were nearly nil past profit, and except for two or three nice looking •Jerseys, there was poor competition, and eventually n good proportion were withdrawn from sale. Cows in milk made 37s (id to £(i 2s (id, mare and foa| Ll'.), 2 year colt Lit Ills,' trap horse LlO, breeding sows LI Is to L2 7s (id.
ADDINGTON STOCK REPORT.
Store sheep: There was a very heavy yarding of store sliocp, totalling over L5,00l), mostly lambs and ewes, and for the latter there was a good sale, a large number oE buyers being present. Lambs were too not- in quite such demand as of late, and the few wethers iffered were very dull of sale. The principal sales were:—Ewes: Half, bred, two-tooth from 20s (id to 20s lid ••ross-bred, four-tooth from 21s 3d to -'ls Hd, mixed ages, young, lCs 2d to 18s 9d.
Fat lambs • For numbers, quality, ind priee the fat lamb market was the best this season. The prices ranged rom 1.5s to Ids 7d for best, and up to 17s 3d for extra. The lighter lambs sold from 1:1s to l is (id, the bulk being taken for export Fat sheep: Prime welhers ISs (id to 21s Id. A few extras sold to 25s lid.
