This was impossible, and in order to supply the gap, enterprising people have brought the matches to us, by means of the biograph moving pictures. Last night Mr MacDcrmott showed the pictures in the New Plymouth Theatre Koyal ■*to a good audience. The football pictures are all that they are claimed to be, and aroused the audience to a lugji pitch of excitement. The players wew easily recognisable, ami " Simon" .
