LOOPING THE LOOP.
DAMAGES FOR ACCIDENT. Received 14,10.12 p.m. London, March 11. A jury awarded a girl injured while ' looping the loop' at Sunderland £250 damages. Justice Darling held that the agreement relieving the proprietress of the theatre from liability in the event of injury was worthless, because it was against public policy. He commented on the inconsistency of the country, forbidding bull fights, and tolerating feats likely to involve mutilation or death.
