ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE.
PBB FfIESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, March 12. Allan Hincheliffewas charged at tho Magistrate's Court to-day with tho attempted murder of Mabel Clark on the sth February. The pair caused a ■sensation on tho date mentioned by announcing their determination to dio together. It was now alloged that HinchclifEo administered poison to his financeo, Miss Clark, and then took it hinwelf. Giving evidence to-day, Miss Clark said she could not remember how »ha gat the poison. Sho had been intiuuto with Hincheliile, and her mother Lad said previously that it was better foe them to die. Hinchclifte was committed for trial,
