Mr Frank Gardiner, of the Now Plymouth railway clerical staff, has received notification of liis transfer to Palmerston North. He is to be succeeded here by Mr Ford, at present stationmaster at Greatford, Mr J. W. Boon, of Nov Plymouth, leaves by the Jiarawa to-uiglit for One. hunga, the first stage of a tour of the whole of the Auckland district, Mrs Soddon and Miss Rubi Seddon went 011 to Wellington by the Intonekui last night, Mr Fred. W, Duval, business manager of Mr George Stephenson's Knglisli Musical Comedy Coiupauy, is iu New Plymouth making arrangements for the Company's performances noxt week Mr E. J. W. Hallett has severed his connection with the Land Transfer Office iu New Plymouth, and joins Mr H. Thompson, solicitor, of Inglewood, as managing clerk. He is an enthusiiistic member of the New Plymouth Hockey Club. Mr JCoom, Cluef Engineer ut Hallways, and Mr Biss, District Engineor, arrived by the mail train on Monday evening iu connection with the deviation of the railway line through New Plymouth,
