MWHITIS MERITOUIOUS WL\. tteeeived 11, 5.7 p.m. Syds£i\ March 10. 'ilio match between the Bawhiti and Bona over a nineteen miles ocean course, was sailed in a flukey breeze. The Bawhiti led throughout and once clear of the Heads soon established a long lead. She proved to have excellent sea-going capabilities and crossed the line 6inin. 48sec ahead af the Boua. The captain of the Bona admitted the Bawhiti gofc.away from his boat at every turn and beat him fairly.
