LOST AT SEA.
I'EK I'KESS ASSOCIATION, Lyttklton, March 7. During the passage 0 f tho barque Barymcde, which arrived from Edithbury to-day, a lad named Richard Lambert 17 or 18 years of age, belong. ">g to Adelaide, was washed overboard and drowned on the morning of February 21st. A heavy westerly galo was blowing, and a boat could not be lowered. Captain Ilillior of the barque' Bwy. ">ede, which armed at Lyttclton this morning from Edithburg, South Australia, reports that an ordinary seaman uamed Richard Lambert, was swept overboard during a heavy westerly gale, ind drowned. Two other men wero washed along the deck by the heavy seas which came aboard, but managed to secure a hold, A lifebelt was thrown to Lambert, but he was not seen again iftcr being washed overboard,
