What the Fingers Tell.
Ask anyone to close the hand and then open it out., and note how lie holds his fingers. If they arc close together and the palm of tho hand is somewhat hollowed, you may know Dial ,l money will never slip through his lingers," as people say. If, however, the lingers are held wide apart find they are curved back from the palm, then you may know him to be one of the " open-handed " sort who, if he have a penny in his pocket, will share it, or even give it to his neighbor. In the closeness or wide-apartness of the finger, when the hand is opened, you may discover what a man or woman is in regard to money matters. Fingers tell all sorts of tales of their owners. Smooth, taper fingers go with the anistie temperament. Plump fingers betray laziness. Lean, bony fingers often denote parsimony, and generally intrusiveness. The man or woman whose lingers lorn back is almost invariably inquisitive, and is very often a mischief-maker.
