SAD DROWNING FATALITY.
THE DOUMA ELECTIONS. Hcceived 27, 9.2,1 p.m. Si. Petebsbi - bg, February 27. An Ukase orders the Dourua to meet on the 10th of May. Owing to disturbances along the inter-railways, several of the Provinces' elections occur at different dates instead of on one day.
PEK TIIESS ASSOCIATION GisuoiiXE, February 27. Two daughters of Henry Citrrie were drowned in the Waiinata river this afternoon. A number of children were bathing when Dulcie Currie, aged eleven, got into ditlicultie>. Her sister, aged 15, weut to the rescue with the result that both lost their lives. A youth who came to the scene could not swim, and other help arrived too late. The body of the younger girl has been recovered.
