An inquest was held to-day concern* iug the deuth of Kuuiui French, whosft dead body was fouud oitcallle stops on tho railway line near tho Thorndoa end of the city 011 Saturday. The jury returned a verdict that deeeaaod was fouud dead, but there was no evidence to show the cause. Tho Coroner remarked that the most reasonable to suppose was {hat deceased had fallen off the platform of a carriage.
