MrT. JI. Will'ord, M.11.R., arrived 111 New Plymouth from Wellington last uigbt on professional business. Sir W. I). Anderson, of the legal firm of Malone, MeVcagh and Anderson, has been elected sub-Lieutenant of the Si rat ford Rillc Voluut CCfS. Dr Crayshaw, the recently appointed subsidised medical mau for the Whangamoniona district, left Slr.ill'ord for W'bangamoniona, accompanied by his wife and two children, on Thursday morning. Dr Crayshaw, who recently arrived in the colony from Yorkshire, England, receives a Government sub- 1 sidy ol L'liU, the same amount from the settlers, and ,CSO from the Slralfojdl District Board. !
