Scratched: Apiti, Hipporangi, Waimoc, Durban. Won comfortably by two lengths. Time, 3.31 3-5. Divs, £l9 and £1 9s. Wliariti Hack: Sherlock Holmes 1, Waitapu 2, Windy 3. Scratched: The Ruler. Won easily by two lengths. Time, 1.46 3-5. Divs., £7 8s and £1 12s. Cup : Cyrano 1, Barca 2. MelOdcon 3. All started. A magnificent race, 'all the horses but one having a say in the result right up to the iinish. Twenty yards from home Cyrano got in front and won by a length, Mclodcon close up third. Time, 2.10 4-5.
