An inquest was held 10-day concerning llic death of Henry Uoyd, who died on Monday night shortly after being thrown from his bicycle, through a collision with another cyclist. The evidence showed that deceased attempted to pass the other man 011 the wrong side. A verdict of accidental death was returned. Oamakc, February 21. While Mr J. A. MacPherson, M.H.K., was testing a now mill engine to-day, one of the steam cocks was turned on while Mr McPherson's face was close to it, and tho steam blew into Mr MacPherson's face and eyes. Medical assistance was summoned and it is not thought there will tie a permanent injury to the sight, although Mr MaePUerson is suffering considerable pain.
