The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending the 10th inst. amounted to 72,000cn" , as compared with 100,000 for :he corresponding period of last yea -. HIDES, SKINS AND WOOL. Messrs Dalgety and Co., report having held their usual fortnightly sale ol wool, skins and hides in tho art gallery on Saturday. The following were prices realised : Wool: Only Cadges and bag lots offering. Fine crossbred, tlj-d to oid ■ medium crossbred, Bid to <Jd; inferior', 7id to 8}; lambs, 8d to BJd ; inferior lambs, 6d to OJtl; dead, 7d to 8d • pieces, 4Jd to sid; locks, 3fd to 4Jd.' Sheep Skins; Prices showed a slight advance.
