PROFESSORS SHOT. THE LAND PROBLEM. Sr, Pktkhsbvho, February 15. Four university professors were shot in the Warsaw Cathedral. The " Times " SI. Petersburg correspoudent says it would require four hundred million acres lo modestly endow thirty-seven million landless peasants, absorbiug all the land owned by the State, the monasteries and laudlords in European Russia, eveu if the Stale possessed the two thousand million pounds necessary to complete the operation.
