The Australians continued their innings, and at 213, for six wickets, declared their innings closed. Ramsford and Armstrong gave a brilliant display of balling, the latter, in one tremendous hit, landing the ball on top of the hill among the spectators. L. P. (Aive secured the chief bowling honors: 2 for 7i). The combined team in their second innings scored 149, Pratt 49 (playing most attractive cricket), W. Cole 19, Sykcs 18, and Skacklock 17, were the chief scorers.

The Australians won by an innings and 38 runs.
