A POSSIBLE COMPHOMISE. The maintenance of the present system of closing the hotel bars at 10 o'clock. The proportion of members serving on the Committee to bo as decided by the electors at the poll taken on March 26th, 1903. The Council suggests the nomination of Messrs Walter Auibury, J. B. Council. Stanley Smith. J. S. McKellur, and W. L. Newman, as a committee thoroughly representative, and which may be relied upon to administer the Licensing Act with justice and impartiality.
