Taniock, Superintendent of Gardens and Reserves, has suggested to the Local Advisory Committee in connection with the Chrislchureh International Exhibition, that the Exhibition 'Jommitlee should set aside a portion of the Exhibition gardens, to bo allotted amongst the gardeners throughout the colony for competitive designs iu landscape gardening. The attractiveness of the grounds would be greatly enhanced at a normal cost. The suggestion has been sent on.
