Recently tlie Hospital Board received tenders for (lie new hospital, the lowest of which was £ll,OllO, this being double the amouid of the funds available. No lender was accepted. To-day the Board resolved to call for fresh lenders and io insert provision in the contract providing for the cessation of the work in the event of ho further resources being available when the £SOOO now iu hand is spent.
