TARANAKI SCHOOL COMMISSIONERS.
The monthly meeting of the Board of School Commissioners was held on Friday. Present: Mr J. Wade (Chairman), H. l'aull, and W. T. Jennings, 51.U.K. slr F. Simpson sent an apology, being absent in the Oliura count rv.

Wake, solicitor, Stratford, applying for renewal of a 21 years' lease of section 1111, block 2, Xgaire, now held by 1.-\ Srhwerdtl'cgcr. —The Secretary's letter in reply, slating that llie tenant had no right of renewal in n 21 years' terminable lease, was endorsed.
The treasurer reported a credit balance ol i'/'ti f Is Id, also that Inhad redeposited for one year a sum of t;121, ;)s I<M, forming part of the Board's land fund.
