Wki.i.ixhto n, Fclini'.iry 2, The Land Hoard has received n ruling from the Under-Secretary for Crown Lauds to the effect that when Crown tenants desire to mortgage sections on which buildingsjexi.it, and which are wholly or in part the property of tlic Crown, it is necessary, in order to secure the Crown from loss, that either the total amount due to it ;be paid off or first mortgage bo giveu by the tenant to the Laud Hoard.
