WEDDING BELLS.
HIAX-COLLIS. Great interest was manifested fn the marriage of Mr .John Kyan, of Auckland, ami formerly well known in Now Plymouth musical circles, with Miss Margaret Mary Collis, eldest daughter of Mr W. A. Collis, which was celebruled at the Whitcly Memorial Chnrcli, New Plymouth, on Wednesday afternoon.-, ' The service, which was conducted by Hie liov. J. N. Buttle, President of th'e Methodist Conference, was fully choral, and \ias attended by a large number of people, The bride'was a member of the choir for a number of years. The Church building was beautifully decorated, a feature of the decorations being a floral bell, which hung over the bride and bridegroom. The bride wore a pretty white silk dress trimmed with chiffon and Brussclls lace. The bodice was trimmed with chiffon and medallions. The Ijridr also ivore the customary veil and carried a lovely shower kiiii|iicl. She was atteaded by her sister (Miss K. Collis) and Miss liyan. The former's dress was a lavender silk voile, with hat to match, Miss liyan wore a creamvoile, with a similar kind of hat. lioth carried shower boui|uels. Mr liyan was attended by Mr Stanley Collis and Mr P. Hooker (of Cambridge). At the conclusion of the service, Mr G. H. "White, the organist of the Church, played the Wedding March and other appropriate music. On leaving, the happy couple were .showered with while (lowers, etc., by the members of the choir and friends. Later (he bride's parents entertained ■a large number of friends at their residenue, " Lakenbu," Vivian-street. The young couple left for Auckland the same evening, being "farewelled" at the boat's side by (juile a host of friends.
