The following also qualified and are entitled to two years' free tuition at the New Plymouth or Stratford High Schools Douglas Harle (Central), -105; Dorothy Mace (Central) 'lot); Fiuley Campbell (Toko) '115; Margaret Bollard (West Etui) ■135; Athol Mclsaac (West End) 'IM; William Syine (Mulhirst) 'll3.

BOARD SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS. Philip Grey (N'.P. High School) 510, marks, £10; Edward Dewhurst (District High School, Stratford), 1'Jl), £11; Douglas Collis (Jf.P. High School), ■152, £10; James Sinclair (N'.P. High School), 113, £lO ; Isabella Buiiyan (D.H.S., Stratford), 'ion, £lO. The following have also qualified:—Alice Bollinger (N'.P. High School), 31)3; Rex Coker (N.P. High School), 301 ; lan Grant (D.H.S., Stratford), 3-12; Guy Morey (N.P. High School), 310 ; Norman Sutherland (D.H.S., Stratford), 337. In each case the possible number of marks was 800. A little more money may be available towards further scholarships for .those who have qualified. Tbe scholarships are tenable free of fee for two years at a High School, and are of the annual value of £lO, plus travelling allowance, which in the ease of pupils who have lo live away troiu home is commuted to a boarding allowance.
