The total for the 39th week of the New Zealand Egg-laying Competition was 1598, making a grand aggregate of 71,087, and the weekly average per pen was 15.81). The highest laying for the week .—Miss Majoric Mei'nllum's (Blenheim) Write Leghorns, 31; Ashworth's .Silver Wyanriollcs (Alexandra) 2!l; Hickman's Brown Leghorns (Balcairn) 28; Slell's White Leghorns (Pieton) 28 ; Naumann's Silver Wyamlottes (Napier) 28. The order of merit in the grand aggregate stands:—Leger (Levin) 11 Hi; Brooks, (South Australia) 1017; Marlborough A. and V. Association, UUli; Miekshaw (Blenheim) D7J.; Jonathan Hodgson (Blenheim) SI71; all these pens being White Leghorns.
