ANOTHER COAL FIELD.
IN THE NELSON DISTKICT. I run muss association - , Nki.so.v, January 25. The Nelson Chamber of Commerce received to-day samples, of coal obtained alongside the main road, about seventy miles from the town, and within twenty miles of the present railway construction. The scam is four feel, while there is another of fifteen feet. The Chamber previously obtained good coal from eighty miles and beyond that on tlie Buller-road. It was resolved to ask authority for the Geological Department to make an exhaustive report.
