TARANAKI EDUCATION BOARD.
The monthly meeting of the Taranaki Education Board was held at the Board's ollice on Tuesday evening. Present—Messrs Jas. Wade (chairman), G. A. Adlam, G. H. Maunder, D. H. Mae Donald, H. Mmiltliouse, J Faull, A. Morton and H. Trimble, CONDOMNCE. On the motion of Mr Faull, seconded by Mr Maunder, it was resolved, the members standing—" That t : iis Board deeply sympathises with the Chairman in the loss he has sustainc.l in the death of his wife, Mrs Wade." AIHHITKCTS ITKI'OHT. The Architect's report on various matters referred to him at last meeting was read and adopted. CIIAIIIMAX'S BEFUIIT. The Chairman report stated having appointed Miss J. Brenuan and Miss G. Rirrhardsou assistants at Cardiff and Mahoe respectively. Miss B. Maxwell having resigned as assistant at Kaiiuata, Miss Richardson was transferred to Kaimata, and Miss E. Howntrec appointed temporary assistant at Mahoe. Stratford school being overstaffed, Miss E. Lewis was transferred from Stratford to Ngaire in place of Miss Kowntrce. Miss Rutherford has been appointed to Tarata, Mr W. L. AVeiss to Mangoroa, and Mr Lc Cool ' 0 Mnlier . Air E. Andrews lias been nppniulni a third-year pupilleather a! W.iilara in place of Miss Bcnl. The report was adopted. The Board adjourned till ten o'clock tits morning.
