It is only fair to stale that owing to an unfortunate accident and other unforseen circumstances, only four members of the l.'jllcs team as picked were able to shoot, While cycling into town to catch the train for Inglewood on Thursday, Private A. Marett, of the Taranaki liille::, received a nasty spill, sustaining some very considerable bruises and abrasions. Although he lost the train, he immediately procured another bicycle and rode to Inglewood, where lie shot for his team in the shooting match, and, despite his bandaged arm, nearly topped the score.
The first match of the second round under the Association was tired at !
