Wilt PKKSS ASSOCIATION. Wki.mxutox, January 18. Alexander Allen,« railway employee, who was run over by u train at Petone recently, necessitating the amputation of a fool, died at tile hospital. Chhistciu'Hch, January 18. Mrs Louisa Finncrly was run over by a steam tram in Moorhouse Avenue this morning. Both legs were broken and the body was mangled. She was removed to the hospital in a dying condition.

The horse was killed immediately, and Mr Best injured seriously, though iu» is progressing favorably. The occupants of the trap escaped injury. Wklmnutox, January IS. A middle-aged man named Bobert Parkinson, employed by the Tourist Department, dropped dead this morning. The deceased had served in Soul h Africa with one of the contingents. Arciu.AXii, January IS. A man named George Waite, while following the tram in Hobson-street on a bicycle, attempted to cross the line, and was knocked down by a car coming from the opposite direction. One of his legs was broken, and he sustained concussion of the brain, He was taken to the hospital, where he is lying in a critical condition,
