A GRUESOME DISCOVERY.
MR PRESS association. Wellington, January 18, While walking in the Botanical Gardens to-day, two citizens found the body of Alfred Cooper, ull ael . att . ( i water maker, of Wellington. Death must have taken place three months ago. The head was detached frrm the trunk, and the hands from the arms. Practically the body was m pieces. A bottle, containing liquid, »-as found near the body. Deceased was 55 years of age.
