A SCHOOL OF COMMERCE.

PER I'IIKSS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, January 15. On behalf of the lecturers in the School of Commerce, Mr Grossman reported to the Auckland University College Council that the amount of public interest already aroused in the school, and the number of students attending, justified hopes ' for the future success of the institution. The lecturers suggested that certificates and diplomas be granted by the college in connection with the school; that the annual examinations be held, and that certificates be issued on results, and that the Council should consider the advisableness of establishing associates-ship on the lines of schools of music. The suggestions were referred to a committee.
