Macara, Prosident of tho Federation of Master Spinners' Associations and sonic of the leading experts in the cotton trade, have issued at Manchester a strong free trade manifesto. The polling at Ipswich resulted: D, F. Goddard (Liberal), 0396; F. T. Cobbold (Liberal), 0290; Sir C. Dal. rymplc (Conservative) 4591, and Hoare (Unionist) 4232. [At the general election in 1900, the Ipswich returns were: Goddard (L) 4557, and Dalrymple (C) 4527 (elected), Buxton (L) 4283, Rawlinson (C) 4207.
