MR C. BELLRINGER ELECTED PRESIDENT. """"" I'ER PUESS ASSOCIATION. Invhrcaroiu, January 12. The Primitive Methodist Conference opened this morning, seventy delegates being present. The following officers were selected:—President, C. Bell, ringer, Esq. (New Plymouth); VicePresident, Rev. J. Olphcrt; Secretary, Rev. 13. Dudley; Assistant Secretaries, Rev. J. Southern and Mr T. E. Gazzard; Auditors, Revs. Ward and Haycock; Station and Allocations Committee, Revs. Potter, Grey, Haycock, Dawson, Olphcrt, Cocker, Drake, Ward, Pybus, Messrs. Goldie, Froggatt, Hill, Hall, Watkiuson, Huffey, Holland, Bittimore, and Wilkinson ; Cimplants and Appeals Committee, Rev*. Lyon and ' Clement, Messrs. Wat Id . imi and Holland; General Purpi.vs Committee, Revs. Clover, Jones, Sm dies, Lyon and Henderson, Messrs. Goldie, Watkiuson, Clements, Wells, and White. Greetings from other churches were received, and votes of sympathy con veyed in several cases of bereavement. The evening sitting was devoted t< committee work.
