The Butter Export CoHffvnitteo resolved that in view of placing tho dairying industry on a propor footing, ensuring full returns to suppliers, to recommend the discouragement of sales to London buyers or speculative agents, and the withdrawal of support from selling agents, The Committee also recommends the oucourugemont of fu.. and direct export by factories. The Scorctary was instructed to tale stops to assist tho movement in Eng. land to obtain legislation prohibiting tho faking or adulteration of Austra. lian butters. The Committee decided that in view of the scarcity of excellent prospects in' butter in Britain, to raise the local prico to Hid.
